A little taster of the Bonkers Bangkok!

Av a Banana!

Or an ice Lolly?

Flowers in a banana leaf?

Orchid for 50p?

Av a dance?

Cool banana?

Walkie Poo's?

Beautiful and fake.

Plastic dreams?

Thai wonders?

What an awesome, dirty, smelly, friendly, mad and beautifully inspiring place Bangkok is.  A million miles away from a UK Christmas warm up. If ever I wanted to be inspired by texture, colour and madness ... here is the place.

  1. pics look great Loub, look forward to hearing the stories not to mention seeing you on the goggle box tomorrow !

  2. Hi
I've saw you on Kirtie's homemade tonight, and have spent the last 3 hours reading your blog. It's wonderful. I work as a seamstress and spent 15 yrs as a costume maker, but although I've always loved the look of machine embroidery was too scared to try. NOT ANYMORE!!!you've inspired me to give it a go. I've also been procratinating about trying yoga, and you've inspired me to sign up.
I did fashion at collage , in the midlands, yrs ago now, and visited Quarry bANK Mill and loved it. SO , lots of co incidences.
a shorter , and less waffly way of saying, I love your work and you've totally inspired me to give yoga and machine embroidery a go.
THANK YOU SOOO MUCH,you're just the tonic & inspiration I needed.

  3. I also saw you on Kistie's programme. Excellent, but there should have been more of your bit. You weren't shown as mad (in a nice way)and as exuberant as you really are.

I love to hear your comments and thanks for looking at my bloggerobbajob.
