The last dance.

Oh godddd. I could BAWL!
Doesnt help that I have got drammatic loud music on and am absolutely knackered... But its my last day in the studio today and if I think about it too much I could just weep and dribble all day.

Stop being so pathetic!!!
You are going travelling around the world... on a huge adventure.... meeting new faces seeing new places and putting your sails up and flying.......ITS EXCITING YOU MORON.

Its open studio and loads and loads of people have been to the studio --- the feedback from my work has been astounding and I am assured yet again that my work is developing and hitting the mark. In fact in a few cases blowing people away. I have sold the 'Desiderata' piece which was my final piece in the studio... and I have sold 'Hello Blossom.' I could have sold both pieces three or four times each which is amazing.

I tell you Ms BIG will be missing out if she isn't actually in New York coz I am ready for action, ready to rock and roll.
I really need representation and it is time.

I cant believe that she may not be there. :(
All this time I have looked forward to meeting her, have arranged my trip around it and according to her secretary she is now in Europe. xxxxing brilliant. (excuse my language but I think in this case theres only one way to describe how I feel.... with dour, sarcastic and exasperated fatigue.)
Its cost me several piecs of art work and a lot of lolly. I could have gone to Hong Kong!!

All I can say is there is a slim chance she meant her word and she will be back next week. It would be amazing to meet her. FINGERS CROSSED. Eyes Crossed, legs Crossed.

This afternoon I am auctioneer for our studio at 4pm and I have to sell 40 pieces of art work in an hour with only a stool and a tin and a stick.

For now though.... I am GOING TO THROW MYSELF INTO THE LARGE BILLOWY BOSSUMS OF BRISTOL AND STAGE DIVE INTO THE FURRY THRONGS OF FABULOUS FRIENDS.

  1. Honestly if she doesn't meet you she's a fool. Your work is to die for. Just wish I could afford some! Kate x

  2. Hi Lou

Just wanted to say good luck on your adventures, I am sure wherever you go you will bring sunshine, and a right good laugh, lucky them. I attended one of your workshops and thought it was brilliant, you made a big impression upon me and my work. The woman in New York is a fool if she lets you down.
    Best regards Bevx

  3. Enjoy your travels, but keep blogging. Having hung in our EG exhibition, where it evoked several comments, 'Vera' now hangs in our daughter's flat to remind them what I was doing whilst she was in labour.
